Vegas Baby, Vegas!

Its been a while since we posted, but we just got back from sunny Las Vegas! I went with Ashley and our friend Erin. We stayed at New York, New York, and it was so cool!!


I'd never been to Vegas before, so I had a lot of fun just walking around the strip, checking out all the theme hotels and restaurants. We even rode the Roller Coaster! Plus, I had the BEST burrito of my life at Diablo's cantina. MMMMMM I'd go back just for that!

I actually WON a few bucks on the Blackjack tables, but of course I spent it all at the hotel restaurants and shops anyway... The house always wins!

Overall, I'd say we saw and did everything there is to do in Las Vegas (except get hitched by Elvis ;)

Rest In Peace

We found out yesterday, that one of our good friends we've known for 14 years was killed in a car accident early on Friday, February 8. We will continue to pray for his family for their tragic loss. You will be missed, Chris!

So, you know how new parents share WAY too many pictures of their child? Well, here's some more of our new kitty! (Which, by the way, is still nameless! We've been calling him Jonas today, but don't know if that one is going to stick!)

We Haven't been able to come up with a name for him yet, so we're still taking suggestions! Please offer your best name ideas ;)

Yay Christmas!!

So, after going to Utah with my fam, Stephen and I came home and started decorating for Christmas!

I love this season! Our apartment looks so warm and welcoming! :)

This is our "on a budget" tree. We bought everything from the dollar store (except for the tree of course!). Even our stockings! (The one on the far right is Charlie's.) We did pretty well, huh?
